Extended: Me

My profession requires me to network with people as it is usually who you know not what you know that propels you from job to job. Firstly my contemporaries are very well connected compared to me simply because of the success of their parents, their wealth, their beauty or the fact that they exude an image of importance and intelligence and brilliance that people are immediately attracted to or indeed a manifestation of them all. Secondly because I highly doubt that the person I class as a "ballet person" will be entertained my sarcasm and dark humour. This will force me to lie to everyone I meet, something that I am terrible at and something that plagues me with crushing guilt. However, when someone exactly like me comes along surely the opening up of "the real me" will help secure their trust in me and their faith in me that I trust them. All in all I am a bit ugly and not socially dazzling, the opposite of what is to be expected of a good dancer. Giggles.
